Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of South Carolina and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. He completed his orthopedic residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Alex is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He has advanced training and certification in manual therapy and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Alex’s areas of interest and specialization include sports injuries, post-surgical and non-operative knee, shoulder, and hip injuries. Alex is a member of our Knee Institute Team and Hip Preservation Program Team. He also serves as a mentor and site coordinator for the Rockets Orthopedic residency program.
He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Texas Physical Therapy Association. Alex enjoys being active, traveling, sports, spending time with his wife and playing with his dogs.
