Ali Forejt completed her undergraduate degree at Salisbury University where she played collegiate basketball and continued on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She went on to complete the Memorial Hermann’s Rockets Sports Medicine Orthopedic Residency program in 2022 and became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Texas Physical Therapy Association as well as certified in Dry Needling through Evidence in Motion.
She now treats at the Memorial Hermann SM&R Bellaire location as a lead hip specialist for the hip program. In addition to treating, she also contributes to ongoing research within the program and is involved in assisting the hip module within the orthopedic and sports residency. She continues to pursue her love for teaching through mentoring for the Memorial Hermann Orthopedic Residency and PTA Advanced Proficiency Pathway programs as well as clinical education for DPT students. She enjoys treating the young and adult athletic population with an emphasis on conservative and post-operative management of hip, knee and ankle. She also has a passion for treating neurological patients with orthopedic problems, including polytrauma and adaptive sports.
Outside of the clinic you can always find Ali moving, whether that is traveling around the US, exploring National Parks, hiking, running, adventuring with her dog, or pretending she is still an athlete playing basketball and sand volleyball in whatever spare time is left.
Ali can be found at Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Bellaire (5420 W Loop S #1400, Bellaire, TX 77401).
