Michelle received a degree in Human Nutrition Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech. She then went on to receive her clinical doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Maryland Baltimore. She completed Memorial Hermann’s orthopedic residency and is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. Michelle has advanced certification/training in Dry Needling. She is a credentialed clinical instructor and enjoys mentoring residents and students. Michelle is a member of our hip preservation program and is involved in teaching/research involving Hip Preservation and Spine Research. She has presented research about physical therapy outcomes after spine surgery at national meetings. In her free time, Michelle enjoys running, hiking, and traveling to different cities and national parks.
