Dana Brooks earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Texas State University and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic and Manual Physical Therapists. Dana currently serves as the Orthopedic Residency Site Coordinator in Cypress as well as faculty with Memorial Hermann’s Rockets Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy Residency Program, assisting in teaching the hip module. She is part of our Memorial Hermann PT Outreach team and works with two local Cy-Fair high schools alongside Certified Athletic Trainers. She holds memberships with the American Physical Therapy Association and Texas Physical Therapy Association. Dana’s clinical interests and expertise focus on conservative management of athletic hip, ankle and spine injuries and optimal return to pre-injury level of function as well as post-operative care for hip and knee.
Dana is passionate about education, collaboration, and clinical excellence through mentorship of residents and fellows in training. Outside of work, Dana enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, weight lifting, and traveling to hike National Parks.
